Teens for Haiti is run by an executive board comprised of high school students in the Tampa area. Not only do we focus on helping the Haitians, but we also assist our local community by volunteering with local charities, selling shirts, offering mission trips, and holding our annual Dance for Haiti fundraiser. Our goal is to help the Haitians reach self-sustainability within their own community. We invite you to help us change Sainte Suzanne and get involved locally to help globally.
Teens for Haiti (TFH) is teen-run 501c3 non-profit charity under Renew Haiti, Inc. that was founded in 2012 by Rachel Halfaker and Sarah Cimino. Upon visiting the small village of Sainte Suzanne, Haiti, Halfaker and Cimino discovered that the Haitians' only power generator was broken. The teens returned to the States inspired to help the people of Sainte Suzanne. Since TFH’s founding in 2012, the organization has grown and raised over $120,000 aimed toward launching projects that will help the Haitians achieve self-sustainability.
