Dance for haiti
Through collaboration with Renew Haiti and Lifeteen, Teens for Haiti offers high school students a once in a lifetime service opportunity. Each spring break, a group of teens go to the village of St. Suzanne, Haiti. On this trip, the teens distribute food bags, assist with local projects, such as painting and building, play with the children, and share the Catholic faith.
Dance for Haiti is Teens for Haiti's annual dance marathon that raises money for the people of St. Suzanne, Haiti. Those living in Haiti face many hardships, and Teens for Haiti is working to aid them in any way possible. Because of Dance for Haiti, Teens for Haiti has been able to launch several long-term projects that will help the Haitians achieve self-sustainability. This years Dance is raising money for the refurbishment of the medical lab and restocking of supplies. Additionally, we are planning to fund a lab technician and doctor for the community's needs.
Teens for Haiti takes pride in making a difference both internationally and locally. We aim to be involved and volunteer with other organizations around the Bay Area.
